The course aims to study the logic and the tools of the management control in enterprises, both from a technical - accounting point of view and from an organizational point of view, as a system to guide and to make responsible the managers toward the goals of the business management.

To understand the logic of strategic planning and management control as a directional process and its mechanisms and technical – accounting tools, particularly regarding to the CVP analysis, BEP in mono-product and multi-product companies, operating decision and economic convenience, budgeting and reporting processes and tools, responsibility accounting, performance measurement tools, job costing and ABC-ABM techniques.
To be able to apply the management control logic and tools to the planning, budgeting and reporting issues.
To be able to analyse critically the issue and the selected solutions discussed in the business case studies.
To learn to discuss in classroom the business cases studied in the individual and team work, using appropriate supports.
To verify ongoing the learning degree of the managerial logic, also and in particular through the business cases study and discussion.

- The logic and the contents of the strategic planning and management control in the enterprises;
- Economic analysis for management control ( Cost-Volume Profit Analysis, Break- Even Point Analysis, Economic convenience and differential reasoning);
- The budget and its drawing up process;
- Economic variances and Reporting;
- The responsibility centres in the management control;
